Taunton Deane Chapter held the annual Installation on Friday 26th May. The Chapter was attended by a number of Officers of Supreme Grand Chapter, Provincial Grand Chapter, Principals in Office and Companions.

E Comp. Colin Martin presented the Sceptre to E Comp Neil Hurcum, Deputy Grand Superintendent, but it was handed back with grateful thanks!

The three Principals were installed in true Aldersgate style: E Comp Tony Beaumont as J, E Comp James Holiday as H and E Comp Steve Parsons as Z.

The three Principals were joined by E. Comp Neil Hurcum, E. Comp. Martin Slocombe 2nd Provincial Grand Principal and E. Comp. David Maddern 3rd Provincial Grand Principle. E. Comp. James and E. Comp Martin had seen something amusing and were sharing the moment.

The Chapter was closed and the companions retired upstairs for the delicious Festive Board where everyone had an enjoyable time. E Comp Tony Beaumont proposed the Toast to the Visitors with a special mention for his guests, 13 in number, who were all part of the Provincial Team during his term as Provincial Scribe E. This included E Comp D John Bennett who was MEGS at the time. The responder to this toast was Comp Ian Evans.
