Provincial Grand Chapter of Somerset Annual Convocation 18th May 2023
The 2023 Annual Convocation is coming upon us soon. This is the meeting at which those Companions who have received appointment or promotion are invested with their Office or rank. All Companions are very welcome to be part of what is always an enjoyable occasion, to support and welcome all our newly-appointed Companions. This year, that includes our new Deputy Grand Superintendent E Comp Neil Hurcum, Provincial Second Grand Principal E Comp Martin Slocombe and Provincial Third Grand Principal E Comp David Maddern.
All are welcome to attend, but if you want to stay for lunch, then you must complete a booking form. It would be wonderful if your Chapter could get up a table, but of course bookings from individual companions are very much accepted. Our menu this year is Ham Hock terrine followed by Turkey Wellington or Vegetable Lasagne with Strawberry Torte for dessert, finishing with tea / coffee and mints. £28.00 per head.
The Convocation formally opens at 11.00 am and so please aim to be seated by 10.45 am.
