Wrington Vale Chapter no 1199 – October 2022
A special evening was had by all on Monday 10th October when the Chapter was pleased to welcome Bro Steve Derwin of Southey Lodge into its ranks.
The Ceremony was well performed by the Principals and Sojourners in such slick timing that the Chapter even had time for eight companions to present the Symbolical Lecture.
Comp Steve was welcomed by the Principals which included the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, E comp Neil Hurcum, at short notice and our thanks to E Comp Sandy Glen for his first time as a Scribe E!
A warm and happy festive board, with good numbers added to the evening.
Following the toast to the Province, E Comp Neil Hurcum rose and made a short reply which included wishing E Comp Peter Harris of Chapter Marine a very Happy Birthday, not quite 21!
Peter was presented with a small gift which reminded him of his first trip to Freemasons Hall in September after nearly 50 years in Masonry.
