Chapter 1966Latest NewsNews Page

Quiet Night at F & S in Wellington

Our April Convocation held a day after our normal Monday because of Easter, it was a quiet evening as we had no Exaltation to perform! Also some of the officers were away at other masonic functions or on holiday. Stand-ins were found for those vacancies and the Chapter commenced with E Comp Paul Spoors, MEZ, opening the Chapter. The election of the Principals for the following masonic year was declared as follows:

MEZ: E Comp Chris Waterhouse, H: E Comp Chris Summers, J: Comp Duncan Sully-Dunbar

Treasurer: E Comp Adrian Halliwell.

We then undertook the Robes Addresses and the Explanation of the Tracing Board where nearly everyone had input by reading out one of the 18 parts.

The Chapter was closed and after returning the lodge room to a Craft set up we adjourned to the Dining Room for a Fish and Chip Supper. The usual Toasts were taken and our one Guest, E Comp Brian Pollard, MEZ 261, responded to the Visitors Toast.
