Tyntesfield Chapter February Meeting 2022
Masonically WOW, what a memory made last night for us Collins Boys, I had the pleasure, nay honour, to be at my Father’s Exaltation into The Holy Royal Arch As his proposer he joined my Chapter, that’s Tyntesfield 4494 meeting in the Nailsea Temple. I had the greatest honour to lead my Dad around at the start as the First Assistant Sojourner. This was truly something special for me as his son, for he has always lead me in everything else except Freemasonry. But so special for all the Companions of our Chapter too.
I must say everyone did a brilliant job this was one of the finest Exaltation Ceremonies I have ever seen, plus having the highest honour to be part off, I must admit to being a little emotional as Dad’s ceremony progressed a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat with sheer joy and pride for my Father.
The festive board was truly magnificent, the food exquisite, the wine flowed and laughter and joviality ensued. The speeches, toasts and explanations of the ceremony were not only inspirational but humbling too. Dad’s face lit up from start to finish of the evening, my speech was emotional again as I love Freemasonry with passion. Tonight was the grand icing on the cake for me, yes a tear in my eye, with a trembling voice I had as I addressed my Dad, Brother and now Companion and my fellow Companions. I must send a huge thankyou to everyone there from the bottom of my heart, you made us Collins’ Boys very proud and humble to be amongst such awesome Men and Masons. I cannot urge highly enough all MMs to complete your journey into antient Freemasonry and join The Holy Royal Arch. Equally I cannot urge all men and indeed women to consider becoming a Freemason, you will wish you had done it sooner
