Chapter of Brotherly Love 329 February meeting 2022
Thursday 24th February saw the first regular, and rather full, meeting at the Yeovil Masonic Hall of the newly Installed Principals.
Unfortunately E. Comp Adrian Watkins, H Elect, was unable to be present at the Installation meeting. Therefore, the Chapter started off our February meeting with E. Comp Tony Rash (Z) installing E. Comp Watkins into his rightful position of 2nd Principal, he went on to explain the Robe and Sceptre of the Office of 2nd Principal to E. Comp Watkins, this was done once all the Companions of the rank of 3rd Principal and below, had returned to the Chapter. E. Comp Rash delivered it in an excellent manner.
The meeting then proceeded with the exaltation of Brother Carl Joseph Caswell a member of the Lodge of Brotherly Love No 329. He was admitted in due form, obligated and raised as a Royal Arch Mason. The ceremony proceeded in Ancient and Prescribed form and ritual of the Chapter of Brotherly Love and Comp Caswell was invested, rewarded and decorated with the Badge, Jewel and Sash of a Royal Arch Mason. He was warmly welcomed into the Chapter.
The evening in the Temple was rounded off with E. Comp Alan Holton PDGSupt. Presenting Supreme Grand Chapter Certificates to Companions Chris James and Allan Barrie.
After the usual business and Risings the Chapter was closed and the Companions retired to the hall downstairs to enjoy the festive board and very convivial company.
